We are thrilled to announce that juniors football will be returning to Perth Royals for the 2026 season, PRFC will again be running Under 5/6s MiniRoos clusters, Under 7s MiniRoos Clusters and the introduction of Under 8s MiniRoos for the first time.​

Fees & Inclusions

Fees for 2026 are as listed below:

• Under 5/6s MiniRoos Clusters: $350

• Under 7s MiniRoos Clusters: $350

• Under 8s MiniRoos: $420

​

These fees include a uniform consisting of a shirt and shorts for your child to keep and wear for game days and training.

Competition Structure

What to expect for each competition:

• MiniRoos Clusters (Under 5/6s): A round-robin format with small-sided games across different club venues. 

• MiniRoos Clusters (Under 7s): A round-robin format with small-sided games across different club venues

• MiniRoos Under 8s: A home-and-away format with teams categorized into different levels based on experience

Teams have been entered into the Perth Zone for the Perth central areas.

Training Schedule

Pre-season will be commencing from Thursday the 19th of February.

​

Sessions will run every Thursday evening from 5:00pm - 6:00pm @ JA Lee Reserve, Lathlain.

Season Fixtures

The 2026 season will be commencing on Sunday 3rd of May. The season fixtures will not be confirmed by Football West until 3-4 weeks prior to round 1. We will provide further updates once the schedule is finalized.​

For Families with Children Outside These Age Groups

If you have registered your interest but unfortunately your child does not currently fit within the age groups we are running this year, we sincerely apologies that we are unable to accommodate them at this time. As a small community club, the number of expressions of interest received was not sufficient to form additional teams.

However, if your child is not within the age groups currently listed, we still encourage you to register your interest. Teams are formed based on demand, and additional age groups may be added should enough interest be shown.

We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support and hope that as the program continues to grow, we will be able to offer more age groups in the future. We wish your child all the best for the season ahead and look forward to welcoming them to PRFC in the coming years.

Parent Commitment 

We also want to take this opportunity to outline our expectations for parents and guardians throughout the season.

​

PRFC is a small, community-led football club based in Lathlain, driven by a passion for football and our local community. Our committee members and coaches are all volunteers, running this program in response to the strong demand for a juniors football program in the area.

​

To ensure the success of the program, we require all parents to assist during training sessions and on game days, both home and away, and is expected. Parental involvement may include:

• Helping set up training sessions

• Assisting coaches

• Acting as game day leaders or referees

• Setting up pitches for home games

• Running the canteen

• Supporting with various other duties

​

Additionally, all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during training and games. We kindly ask that children are not left alone as our volunteer coaches are not able to manage large groups of children alone. Most training sessions will be run by 2-3 club volunteers and could include up to 30+ children, making parental supervision essential!

Volunteering  

PRFC is seeking volunteers for the 2026 season.

Are you passionate and willing to help? If so, we would love to hear from you. No football experience is required. We are looking for coaches who are happy to run training sessions, either full time or on a roster basis, as well as volunteers who are willing to be trained as game day leaders to assist the children during matches.
