Juniors Infomation
We are thrilled to confirm that for the 2025 season, PRFC will be running Under 5/6s MiniRoos clusters, Under 7s MiniRoos Clusters and an Under 9s MiniRoos team for the first time. As a community not-for-profit club, we are entirely run by volunteers who dedicate their time to providing a great football experience for local families.

We are also excited to announce that Solahart Cannington has come on board as our official sponsor for the juniors program this year! Their support will help us continue to grow and provide the best experience possible for our young players. We are incredibly grateful for their contribution to the club and junior football.

Fees & Inclusions
As a committee, we have now finalized the fee structure for the season:
-
Under 5/6s MiniRoos Clusters: $350
-
Under 7s MiniRoos Clusters: $350
-
Under 9s MiniRoos: $420
These fees include a uniform consisting of a shirt and shorts for your child to wear during the season and to keep.

MiniRoos Clusters (Under 7s): A round-robin format with small-sided games across different club venues

Teams have been entered into the Perth Zone D for the Perth central areas.

Training Schedule Update
As many of you know, we have been running training sessions on Tuesday evenings. Starting next week Thursday 20th March, training will move from Tuesday at 4:30 PM to Thursday at 5:00 PM.
Now that our teams are confirmed, we will be splitting training as follows:
-
Under 5/6s & 7s: Led by club volunteers on a roster basis.
-
Under 9s: Led by Luke Kennedy, our newly appointed volunteer coordinator.

Season Fixtures
The season fixtures are yet to be confirmed by Football West, but the season is expected to commence in mid to late April. We will provide further updates once the schedule is finalized.

Spaces Still Available!
We still have some spots open across our nominated teams, particularly in the Under 7s and Under 9s age groups. If your child has any friends or family members who may be interested, we would love to get them involved! Please feel free to share this opportunity with them.

For Families with Children Outside These Age Groups
If you have registered your interest but unfortunately your child does not fit within the age groups we are running this year, we sincerely apologize that we cannot accommodate them at this time. As a small community club, this is our first year running the program, and the EOI numbers were not sufficient to form additional teams.
We truly appreciate your interest and hope that as the program grows, we will be able to offer more age groups next year. We wish your child all the best for the season ahead and hope to welcome them back to PRFC in the coming years.

Parent Commitment
We also want to take this opportunity to outline our expectations for parents and guardians throughout the season.

PRFC is a small, community-led football club based in Lathlain, driven by a passion for football and our local community. Our committee members and coaches are all volunteers, running this program in response to the strong demand for a juniors program in the area.

To ensure the success of the program, we require all parents to assist during training sessions and on game days, both home and away, and is expected. Parental involvement may include:
-
Helping set up training sessions
-
Assisting coaches
-
Acting as game day leaders or referees
-
Setting up pitches for home games
-
Running the canteen
-
Supporting with various other duties

Additionally, all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during training and games. We kindly ask that children are not left alone as our volunteer coaches are not able to manage large groups of children alone. Most training sessions will be run by two volunteers and could include up to 30-40 children, making parental assistance essential.

If you are passionate about football and would like to volunteer regularly to support our coaches as an assistant, we would love to hear from you! Please reach out to us if you’re interested in helping.
